This set of images are photos I took last summer on holiday in Rome when we went to visit the colosseum, arch of Constantin, the palace gardens, and ruins of an old coastal roman town. There were a lot of interesting sites to visit in the roman town such as tombs, road signs, mosaics, olive oil containers, sculptures, fountains, and even a theatre. This is a great source of primary research which relates to the topic of archaeology very well.
